Who am I?

I am a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Idaho State University pursuing a Master's Degree in Biology.

My passion for the natural world has been fostered by time spent outdoors. Hiking in the Adirondack High Peaks and beyond has brought me to over 160 named peaks, with many repeats. This passion of mine has even gotten me involved in research with alpine plants and their pollinator guilds.

At SUNY Plattsburgh I was heavily involved in research with many professors, ranging in topics from how wildfire affects wetland carbon storage to tree encroachment in a boreal peatland and plant-pollinator interactions in the alpine zone. Besides research I pride myself in having ran a successful Wildlife Club where I got the campus community involved in wildlife appreciation and conservation through educational trips and activities.
